Marleah is about as much of a fan of
the literary medium known as the bio as she is of trigonometry textbooks.
Nonetheless, for the sake of formalities, following this short paragraph
is another short paragraph that serves as a brief history peppered with
Marleah-fun-facts. While it can't possibly sum up this unquestionably
unique individual, it does satisfy the requisite hey-I've-done-things
component of a website that is hopefully somewhat validating,
and may even spark some curiosity in you.
Marleah is originally from upstate New York and majored in Theatre Arts
at SUNY New Paltz. While there she experimented with close to a dozen
extremely bad hairstyles, while appearing
in several university productions. After graduation, she saw the country
by way of touring with a children's theater company and performed in
a number of local stage productions thereafter. Along with other former
New Paltz students, Marleah went on to form the Brooklyn-based Chameleons
improv troupe. She also developed an interest in on-camera work; television
and independent film roles followed.
And now? Writing has taken a front and center position- including film
reviews, blogs and even the occasional haiku. That being said, if you
really want to get to know the girl behind all this, get yourself outta
here and straight to the good stuff- check out the links to articles,
blogs and more.
